2 Timothy 1:1 (NKJV) 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus…<\/p>\n

Paul was an apostle by the will<\/em> of God, meaning that God wanted to use Paul in such a way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Could Paul have said no to God? Yes, he could have. God does give us a choice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

However, think of all that would have changed if he did not obey the will of God for his life.<\/p>\n

These books, Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, and Hebrews, in the New testament would not have been written.<\/p>\n

All the knowledge, wisdom, correction, struggles, strengths, etc. would have been lost. Wow! Paul’s obedience benefitted us all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God\u2019s will for our lives may not be to become an apostle like Paul.<\/p>\n

Whatever it may be, though, will be very meaningful and make a great\u00a0difference in some way, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We have a choice. We can say no to His will for us. But I know that if I did, I would always be thinking about the \u201cwhat if\u201d.<\/p>\n

Let us get serious and seek God for who He is, and He will guide us into the things He desires us to do in serving others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Keep His word in us. It is His manual that guides our steps!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n
