John 3:3 (NKJV) 3 Jesus answered and said to him, \u201cMost assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Before we ever worry about a single thing related to God, we need to be sure to tend to this one thing; being born again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see, without being born again (born of the Spirit), nothing else matters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

That may sound blunt, but it\u2019s the truth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus Himself said, \u201cunless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There is no room for negotiating or bargaining. It is an absolute.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to understand that emotion isn\u2019t part of this. Intellect isn\u2019t part of this. It is 100% spiritual in nature. This is why the word also refers to it as being \u201cborn of the Spirit\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As Jesus spoke with Nicodemus, who had approached Jesus in the night so as not to be seen by others, He told Nicodemus that he must be born again. When Nicodemus questioned this, Jesus spoke further.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 3:5 (NKJV) 5 Jesus answered, \u201cMost assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Again, Jesus was absolute in His statement. He didn\u2019t offer alternative ways whereby one can enter the kingdom of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Now, to make it clear, being born again, or being born of the Spirit, does not require a certain set of steps. Nor does it require a ceremony of any kind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It is 100% personal, between you and God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And it does not require any special prayer or special words to be uttered.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What it requires is a sincerely repentant heart that is seeking God and His truth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

That truth lies in Jesus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 14:6 (NKJV) 6 Jesus said to him, \u201cI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In Him and Him alone can we find salvation; forgiveness for our sins and eternal life with the Father.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, in all of our seeking, let us be sure to seek first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). Without that, nothing else matters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
