Exodus 3:11 (NKJV) 11 But Moses said to God, \u201cWho am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWho am I?\u201d.<\/p>\n

Those three words were spoken by Moses, the greatest prophet of the Old Testament, as he was faced with carrying out the task that God had given him.<\/p>\n

God had chosen him, but Moses wasn\u2019t so sure about God\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n

We hear those same three words again, coming from the mouth of David, the man and the king whom God called a man after His own heart.<\/p>\n

1 Chronicles 17:16 (NKJV) 16 Then King David went in and sat before the Lord; and he said: \u201cWho am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far?<\/p>\n

And then we hear them once more, coming from the mouth of Solomon, the greatest king who ever reigned over Israel.<\/p>\n

2 Chronicles 2:6 (NKJV) 6 But who is able to build Him a temple, since heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I then, that I should build Him a temple, except to burn sacrifice before Him?<\/p>\n

These words are a stark contrast to the teachings of the world, where we are told that we must understand our self-worth, and that self-esteem is critical to proper childhood development.<\/p>\n

As believers, it\u2019s important that we understand that our worth is found only in God, the One who created and redeemed us.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s when we truly understand this that we will begin to give God the honor and glory that He deserves in every aspect of our lives.<\/p>\n
