Acts 9:10 (NKJV) 10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, \u201cAnanias.\u201d And he said, \u201cHere I am, Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ananias was chosen by God to go and see Saul of Tarsus.<\/p>\n

Saul had brought much harm and suffering to God\u2019s people in Jerusalem, and the word had spread about him. So, Ananias was very much aware of Saul.<\/p>\n

He was reluctant about what God had asked him to do, but he knew he must go.<\/p>\n

Wow! This says a lot about Ananias.<\/p>\n

Sometimes God will ask us to do things and we may feel the same way Ananias did. We may even ask God, \u201care You sure about this?\u201d.<\/p>\n

Can you imagine Ananias and what he was going through?<\/p>\n

If it was me, I\u2019d be like, \u201cYou want me to go where and do what? But he\u00a0has a bad reputation? Are You sure?\u201d.<\/p>\n

Well, God reassured Ananias that it was OK for him to go, that Saul was a chosen vessel of His and\u00a0all would be fine.<\/p>\n

He will do the same for us if we have any concerns about some things that we are chosen to do.<\/p>\n

Because God had reassured him, Ananias obeyed God and followed through.<\/p>\n

Acts 9:15 (NKJV) 15 But the Lord said to him, \u201cGo, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.<\/p>\n

How about us?<\/p>\n

Will we\u00a0say, \u201chere I am Lord,\u201d and then follow through when He impresses on our hearts to do something a bit uncomfortable?<\/p>\n
