Matthew 5:44 (NKJV) 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you<\/span>…<\/p>\n

Some of us may be asking ourselves, “how is this possible? How can we love those who hate us and persecute us?”.<\/p>\n

How?<\/p>\n

By not responding out of our emotions, but from the same forgiveness that God offers to each and every one of us.<\/p>\n

How do we love our enemies? By forgiving them.<\/p>\n

How do we bless those who curse us? By forgiving them.<\/p>\n

How do we do good to those who hate us? By forgiving them.<\/p>\n

And most importantly, how do we pray properly for those that spitefully use us and persecute us? By forgiving them.<\/p>\n

We have to make a sincere choice to forgive them. And then we allow the Holy Spirit to walk us through it.<\/p>\n

We allow God to bring healing to our heart and teach us how to respond as a child of the Most High God. It’s all done through His strength.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not easy. But if we purpose in our hearts to follow Christ, these are the things we will experience.<\/p>\n

Colossians 3:13 (NKJV) 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.<\/p>\n

The outcome of such forgiveness will be worth it all.<\/p>\n
