Deuteronomy 32:4 (NKJV) 4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.<\/p>\n

People may say, “how can we trust God?”. I ask, “how can we not?”.<\/p>\n

There are two Hebrew words which are translated as ‘rock’ in English; Tsur and Sela. Both of the words denote more than just a rock. These both indicate a large immoveable cliff or boulder, sharp and strong, mighty.<\/p>\n

When most people think of a rock, they think of it being strong, solid and unchanging.<\/p>\n

2 Samuel 22:2 (NKJV) 2 And he said: \u201cThe Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer…<\/p>\n

David called God his rock, fortress and deliverer because God enabled him to subdue his enemies and gave him victories in battles.<\/p>\n

In this life we live, if we say we trust someone it\u2019s because they have proven to us somehow that we can trust them. They usually have done something for us, or we have known them in such a way that we trust them in what they say or do.<\/p>\n

If we don\u2019t trust God, is it maybe because we don\u2019t know Him?<\/p>\n

How do we get to a point where we trust God?<\/p>\n

We learn about Him, like anyone else we trust.<\/p>\n

We watch, we listen, we observe. We will reach a place in our heart where we will say, “yes Lord, I trust You”.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a decision that takes place in our heart.<\/p>\n

He is perfect. He is just. He is a God of truth. He is righteous and upright.<\/p>\n

Let Him show Himself to us in our personal walk with Him.<\/p>\n

1 Samuel 2:2 (NKJV) 2 \u201cNo one is holy like the Lord, For there is none besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God.<\/p>\n
