Psalm 119:11 (NKJV) 11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.<\/p>\n

Knowing what His word says will keep us from indulging in sin. It will bring conviction when we are weak and ready to cave in to temptation.<\/p>\n

Hiding His word in our heart means to READ scripture, meditate on scripture and know scripture.<\/p>\n

We need to walk in the scripture, live in the scripture and hold it dear to our heart. It is\u00a0our answer to everything we face.<\/p>\n

Some may say, \u201cwell, that\u2019s nice but who has time to sit and read?\u201d.<\/p>\n

We all have time given to us. It\u2019s what we do with our time that counts.<\/p>\n

We have full control over our time. We will fill it up with the things we feel we need to do.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, we will see that we need to be in God\u2019s word daily.<\/p>\n

Everything else can wait. Reading God\u2019s word should be a\u00a0priority every day. It is so very important that we get it in us.<\/p>\n

Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV) 6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.<\/p>\n

Parents, we are responsible for training up our children. Let us teach them and train them in the way they should go. Get them in God\u2019s word\u00a0early. If they can\u2019t read, read it to them.<\/p>\n

Oh, they may fuss about it, stomp their feet or kick and scream at times. But stay strong; don\u2019t give in. They need it in them more than we will ever know.<\/p>\n

Let us hide His word in our hearts today, so when sin comes knocking on our door, we have the strength in us to avoid it and to shut it down quickly! Amen.<\/p>\n
