Matthew 10:33 (NKJV) 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven<\/span>.<\/p>\n

We recently received a text message from an unidentified person whose text message said only this: \u201cI Don’t acknowledge you Jesus Christ\u201d.<\/p>\n

That text message saddened me, and it got me pondering on some things.<\/p>\n

As I was pondering on it over the course of several days, here is what the Holy Spirit told me in a matter of just a few seconds yesterday.<\/p>\n

We can deny Jesus, but that will never undo what He did for us.<\/p>\n

His sacrifice still stands. And His blood that was shed will be no less powerful because of our denial.<\/p>\n

The only loss suffered because of our denial is our own. We gain nothing and lose everything by denying the One who died for us.<\/p>\n

We can deny Him, but God\u2019s love for humanity will not be changed.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because in Him there is no darkness. There is only light and truth. There is no danger of Him changing who He is. He never changes.<\/p>\n

And although He may occasionally chasten His people, His love remains steadfast. And it\u2019s because<\/em> of His love that He does<\/em> discipline us.<\/p>\n

That discipline proves His love for us.<\/p>\n

So, it behooves us to be careful of what we say, not letting our emotions overtake us and cause us to say something that we later wish we hadn\u2019t said.<\/p>\n

And remember what Jesus said; \u201cwhoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father<\/span>\u201d.<\/p>\n

This alone should be enough to keep us from denying Him. And if we have<\/em> denied Him in a moment of anger or frustration, the best thing we can do is to immediately repent and sincerely ask God for His forgiveness.<\/p>\n

Because He is steadfast, He will be faithful to do so.<\/p>\n
