Proverbs 28:13 (NKJV) 13 He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.<\/p>\n

Ignoring, stuffing down or hiding what we have said or done wrong will not help us.<\/p>\n

It may take the sting away for a bit as we try to forget it, but peace comes only when we receive God\u2019s mercy by asking for forgiveness.<\/p>\n

If we don\u2019t remain an open book with God, and be held accountable to Him, it will be easy for us to overlook the things we should be repenting of and coming clean from.<\/p>\n

Whether we think our sin is little or big in God\u2019s eyes, we must repent. Why? Because sin is sin.<\/p>\n

We need to keep a remorseful mindset, knowing that God is holy, and that sin will put distance between us and Him if we don\u2019t remove it.<\/p>\n

As soon as we know or are convicted, we need to give it up and ask for forgiveness.<\/p>\n

Walk away from those things that put distance between us and God.<\/p>\n

Remember; covering up our sin will cause us to not prosper. But when we confess, He will show us mercy.<\/p>\n

1 Chronicles 29:13 (NKJV) \u00a013 \u201cNow therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.<\/p>\n
