Isaiah 48:17 (NKJV) 17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: \u201cI am the Lord your God, <\/span>Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He will\u00a0teach us to profit.<\/span><\/p>\n

To teach means to instruct or train.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It takes time to learn how to profit, but thank God if we follow His <\/span>lead, He will show us the way. He is our Lord who teaches.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Many <\/span>times I have gotten upset at myself for not doing certain things the way I should have. I have often found myself repeating, “If only I would have done it this way”, or “if only I would have done it that way”.<\/p>\n

With God, though, He will lead us so that we don\u2019t have to refer to the, \u201cif onlys\u201d as much.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I know it’s <\/span>much easier said than done because we love to be able to do things without help. But, if we truly want to profit in this life, we need to let Him train us in this.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How many want to profit today?<\/span><\/p>\n

Let Him teach us how. Let Him be our leader. let Him guide our steps.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We need to say no to the desires within us that keep us repeating our mistakes, and give preference to being taught what is better for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes that very thing we <\/span>desired was going to be the thing that would delay or distract us. God knows, and He will lead us to what will profit us rather then what will destroy us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Let our Redeemer teach us the way we should go. Amen.<\/span><\/p>\n
