Job 1:6 (NKJV) 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.<\/p>\n

This verse should be of interest to every child of God.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because it gives us a glimpse of some of the things that go on in the spiritual realm, behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

This is another piece of proof that what we see playing out on the earth is merely a piece of a battle that is being waged and fought beyond what our eyes can see.<\/p>\n

Despite not showing an actual battle scene playing out, this verse shows some of the events that take place in the heavens.<\/p>\n

It is proof of spiritual warfare and strategies being played out.<\/p>\n

There is a good reason why the Bible tells us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, hosts of wickedness in heavenly places, etc.<\/p>\n

Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV) 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.<\/p>\n

For everything we see happening in the natural world, there are many other things that we cannot<\/i> see happening. They are being played out in a world that is imperceivable to our natural eyes.<\/p>\n

Evidence of spiritual warfare is all around us. But we must rely on the Holy Spirit to reveal it to us. Our flesh and bones cannot see it nor discern it.<\/p>\n

It can be easy for our eyes to see evil actions carried out by people in the natural world. For us to see it \u201cin the spirit\u201d, however, we need to allow God to teach us how to discern what is behind the things we see.<\/p>\n

As we learn this, we will discover that there is always more than meets the eye.<\/p>\n

Take the time to study God\u2019s word.<\/p>\n

Be careful to watch and listen for God to show us the truth about what we see around us.<\/p>\n

This is not spooky or weird. It is God\u2019s word and prophecies from centuries ago being played out right before our eyes.<\/p>\n

As we learn to allow God to show us the big picture, prepare to be blown away by what we see.<\/p>\n

And rest in knowing none of it surprises God. He is still on His throne.<\/p>\n
