Galatians 3:27 (NKJV) 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.<\/p>\n

Each day we rise from our sleep and begin to prepare for the day ahead.<\/p>\n

For many, part of that preparation is deciding what to wear; what clothing we will put on.<\/p>\n

In the verse above, Paul wrote that if we have been baptized into Christ we put on Christ.<\/p>\n

And just as we choose our clothing each day, we must choose whether we will wear Christ or not.<\/p>\n

We must choose whether we will live and behave in a way that Glorifies Him and represents the kingdom of God, or if we will walk in the ways of the world.<\/p>\n

You see, being a follower of Christ is a choice we make.<\/p>\n

We make a choice to put our faith and trust in Him, and then we choose to walk with Him daily or not.<\/p>\n

Some may frown at that notion saying, \u201cif we have put our faith in Christ, then we are walking with Him (putting Him on) automatically each day\u201d.<\/p>\n

But the reality is that this is not always true.<\/p>\n

The enemy is always knocking at our door, tempting us to \u201ctake Christ off\u201d by emulating or following the path of the world.<\/p>\n

No, if we make a poor choice and sin, which we are all guilty of from time to time, we have not necessarily taken Christ off.<\/p>\n

But if those sins become habitual, and our faith falters, we are in danger of taking Him off and leaving Him behind.<\/p>\n

And this is what Paul was warning the Galatian believers about.<\/p>\n

So, it is pertinent that we make every effort to walk out our salvation daily, with fear and trembling, as Paul spoke to the Philippian believers about.<\/p>\n

Philippians 2:12 (NKJV) 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;<\/p>\n
