Philippians 1:29 (NKJV) 29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake…<\/p>\n

Suffering for Christ is something we must welcome and embrace; and that the life of faith isn\u2019t always going to be easy.<\/p>\n

Many times, we will suffer for Jesus\u2019 sake. But no matter what we go through, He will always be right there with us.<\/p>\n

Have you ever had to take a stand because you know that what others are trying to pressure you into is not right for you anymore? That\u2019s your loyalty to Jesus coming out. That\u2019s embracing your responsibility as a child of God now.<\/p>\n

You love those who are dear to you, but you no longer fall for those things that you used to do with them; those things that were borderline and you knew it.<\/p>\n

But receiving Christ as Your Lord, you now completely put those things behind you and take on your new life with Him.<\/p>\n

Sacrifice comes in many forms. And we have all had our share. But, remember no matter how big or how small it is, it is well worth it, knowing that it is for Jesus\u2019 sake.<\/p>\n

He has, after all, done much for us.<\/p>\n

Think of His life. He got very close to His disciples. He spent so much time with them.<\/p>\n

Then, the day came, and He knew it was time to go through His crucifixion.<\/p>\n

He not only knew He would suffer, but also that He would have to leave behind those He spent day and night with for 3 years.<\/p>\n

He taught them, ate with them, ministered to them. They were His friends. He saw them laugh, He saw them cry. He saw them grow and change into the men God was making them.<\/p>\n

John 11:35 (NKJV) 35 Jesus wept.<\/p>\n

Jesus had His share of pain and sorrow here on earth; more than we can ever imagine. His sacrifice for us was deep.<\/p>\n

Can we find it in our hearts to do the same for Him?<\/p>\n
