Revelation 16:15 (NKJV) 15 \u201cBehold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.\u201d<\/p>\n

We seem to be writing frequently about trusting God during trials and tough seasons in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

We never plan our topics in advance. We write what God leads us to write when He prompts us to do so.<\/p>\n

The season the body of Christ is walking through right now seems an apt time to write on the topic of trusting Him. It is indeed a dark time in the world\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

As teachers, we always want to stay in tune with God\u2019s spirit and do as He leads us to do.<\/p>\n

And so it may be that the bride of Christ needs to hear these kinds of things from the word of God at this very moment.<\/p>\n

Our goal as believers should not be to wait until we are in desperate need of God to go to Him, but to always stay close to Him.<\/p>\n

It is in staying close to Him that we find daily strength and assurance for the less difficult seasons, as well as comfort and hope when difficult times do arise.<\/p>\n

Some may view this as gloom-and-doom teaching, focusing too much on the negative.<\/p>\n

But if we as believers focus solely on the \u201chappy things\u201d that make us feel good, and we never gain understanding regarding difficult seasons, we will not be prepared to push through to victory when we are up against spiritual battles that require perseverance and a strong resolve.<\/p>\n

So, we urge you with everything in us to take the necessary steps to break free from the distractions of everyday life and draw near to God.<\/p>\n

The word of God says that the \u201cday of the Lord\u201d will come like a thief in the night.<\/p>\n

Let us not be caught up in trying to figure out when<\/i> that day will come or ignoring that it will<\/i> come. But rather that we will be prepared when it does<\/i> come. For when it comes, there is no time left to prepare.<\/p>\n
