1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.<\/p>\n

As I sit out in my yard today, the fragrance of fresh, new blossoms fills the air.<\/p>\n

The birds are chirping, singing a happy song. The sky is so blue, and the green of the trees, grass and shrubs is vibrant. I am in awe!<\/p>\n

My heart shouts with praise, \u201dGod is good!\u201d<\/p>\n

How often do we take the time to love and appreciate the things around us? Those things that are meant to bless us on that very day, at that very moment.<\/p>\n

Imagine if God gave us a day such as this, a pretty day to help us face what we were going through. And we just got up in the morning and ran from the time our feet hit the floor until the time we went to bed, and never even got to enjoy His answer for that day.<\/p>\n

I wonder how many of His answers we have missed because we don\u2019t stop for a moment to recognize them.<\/p>\n

How many answers are in those little things we take for granted every day?<\/p>\n

Let our eyes be open today to His beauty all around us.<\/p>\n

Let our ears hear the things that will calm our spirit.<\/p>\n

Let our hearts take in His majesty, and let us sit at His feet to give Him thanks.<\/p>\n

Those geese flying overhead making their honking sounds may just be what we need to calm our soul and help us hear what God may have been trying to tell us all along.<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
