Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV) 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.<\/p>\n

How beautiful is the fruit of the Lord! Amen.<\/p>\n

We can bear such fruit if we allow His Spirit to guide us through even the smallest tasks.<\/p>\n

Now, this may mean we will have to be disciplined enough to listen, to pull back or move forward at times when our flesh wants to say, \u201cmaybe later, I\u2019m not ready right now\u201d.<\/p>\n

Such fruit is the defining characteristic of God\u2019s presence among His people. And it should be a defining characteristic of God\u2019s people themselves.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s impossible to always carry out such fruit on our own.<\/p>\n

We could go to bed feeling fine one moment and then wake up in a mood the next day.<\/p>\n

We have to admit that our flesh is so very fickle.<\/p>\n

It takes His Spirit, who moves upon our hearts, to bring us to a place where we desire to do His will, choosing Him over how we feel in that moment.<\/p>\n

As we grow in our relationship with Him, we don’t choose to react to a situation with our own intellectual understanding. We see the importance in seeking His reaction.<\/p>\n

This is what produces God-given fruit every time. We must lean on the Holy Spirit to guide us in going the extra mile and enjoy the fruit of walking in His Spirit!<\/p>\n

Matthew 5:41 (NKJV) 41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two<\/span>.<\/p>\n
