Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.<\/p>\n

Our language matters. Why?<\/p>\n

Because that is how we can bring change to certain situations. If we speak from a righteous heart we will produce good fruit.<\/p>\n

The words we choose can bring peace around us. They can calm the atmosphere. They can snuff out the flame in heated conversations and turn them around, bringing laughter instead of yelling and bickering.<\/p>\n

The power is in the tongue!<\/p>\n

Where do our words come from? The fruit from our lips comes from our heart.<\/p>\n

Learning to wait on the Lord to lead us in our conversations is crucial. And then following through, with the help of the Holy Spirit and what He puts on our hearts to say in that moment, will bring life to those who receive these words.<\/p>\n

John 14:26 (NKJV) 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you<\/span>.<\/p>\n
