Zechariah 14:9 (LSB) 9 And Yahweh will be king over all the earth; in that day Yahweh will be the only one, and His name one.<\/p>\n

As I approach my 62nd birthday, I tend to reflect a lot more than I used to, looking back not just on my own life, but on the world we live in.<\/p>\n

I do not do this to reminisce, but to ponder on the things I have seen and that I see now.<\/p>\n

I see the world through different eyes than I did when I was young. I am no longer na\u00efve, nor am I spiritually blind any longer.<\/p>\n

I recognize evil for what it is. I see its far-reaching effects, and the havoc that it wreaks in the lives of those who embrace it.<\/p>\n

And it is with this understanding that I say with the utmost confidence that there is only one name that matters to me. It is Yahweh. He is my God and my Rock.<\/p>\n

His name is forever, and His plans are true and trustworthy.<\/p>\n

And it is in His plans that I rest, knowing that if I follow Him and His leading, I cannot go wrong.<\/p>\n

The world will pass away, even as it is now decaying before our eyes, rotting with the evil that is consuming it.<\/p>\n

He is my Safe Haven, the shelter that I run to for my peace and assurance.<\/p>\n

He is my Provider, ever faithful to bring me through whatever storms I may face.<\/p>\n

And He is my Redeemer, the Forgiver of my sins as I repent and trust Him with everything about my life.<\/p>\n

My God, I love You, adore You, and worship You with all my heart.<\/p>\n

I look toward the day when you will be King over all the earth, destroying evil once and for all.<\/p>\n
