John 15:5 (NKJV) 5 \u201cI am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing<\/span>.<\/p>\n

This morning as I was praying, I saw very clearly a beautiful picture of vines. And silently I said to myself. \u201cWhat was that?\u201d<\/p>\n

I immediately looked up scriptures with the word vine in it. The very first one that came up was the scripture, \u201cI am the vine!\u201d<\/p>\n

I knew that God was reassuring me that I need to trust Him.<\/p>\n

Not people, not things, not anything other than Him.<\/p>\n

Trust in Him for our provision.<\/p>\n

Trust in Him for our healing.<\/p>\n

Trust in Him for our answer.<\/p>\n

Trust in Him for our daily needs.<\/p>\n

Think about how we breathe; it comes naturally.<\/p>\n

As God\u2019s children, that\u2019s how we ought to trust Him. It should be natural and effortless, where we don\u2019t even think about it. We just do it automatically. Every day, every hour, every minute, and in every situation.<\/p>\n

But what happens? Fear, concerns and anxiety all try to attack us and cause us to doubt when our situation changes.<\/p>\n

He is our Vine; trust Him! Without Him we can do nothing.<\/p>\n

Today is a <\/i>good day to be reminded that we are well taken care of, and to trust in our Vine; Jesus Christ of Nazareth.<\/p>\n

The Lord has us! Amen.<\/p>\n
