Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV) 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n

What are you going through today that has made you weary and heavy-laden?<\/p>\n

Heavy laden means to be weighed down by a great burden or load, or to be oppressed or crushed.<\/p>\n

It means to carry a very heavy load, possibly for some time. It causes people to feel worn down or drained. It can cause anxiety and hopelessness.<\/p>\n

Rest is what weary people seek. Rest restores the vigor and strength necessary to carry on and enjoy life.<\/p>\n

May you come to the Lord today and find your rest in Him. Do not sorrow any longer, for His joy is your strength!<\/p>\n

Nehemiah 8:10 (NKJV) 10 Then he said to them, \u201cGo your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.\u201d<\/p>\n
