Deuteronomy 12:32 (NKJV) 32 \u201cWhatever I command you, be careful to <\/span>observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

His Word has purpose. It is to help bring salvation and deliverance to us. And to teach us of His ways.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we take it lightly, or\u00a0add our own twist to it so that <\/span>we can continue to do things that we want to be doing without being convicted, we jeopardize our lives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Beware of people who <\/span>stand in the pulpit and take God\u2019s word and turn it around.<\/p>\n

Beware of people who fluff up the words of God and sugar-coat them so they can build a big following.<\/p>\n

Beware of people who don\u2019t teach the whole truth,\u00a0but only the things they want to teach to keep it easy on the listeners.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A lot of words are being spoken today that lead people away from God. We need to beware and keep <\/span>our guard up; our ears attentive and our Bible close by.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We must let the Holy Spirit prompt us. And we need to be ready to listen quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

James 1:19 (NKJV) 19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath…<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to be alert. And if something we hear <\/span>doesn\u2019t sit right with us, there is probably a reason.<\/p>\n

Check into it and compare it to God’s Word. His word is pure.<\/p>\n

Our spirit will pick up on things that are off if we keep feeding it with God’s word.<\/p>\n

When that happens, it\u2019s up to us to make a move, and to stay clear of those who are adding to or taking away from His truth.<\/p>\n

We are responsible for ourselves and what\/who we let feed us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Proverbs 30:5-6 (NKJV) 5 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. 6 Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.<\/span><\/p>\n
