Acts 4:16 (NKJV) 16 saying, \u201cWhat shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.<\/p>\n

In the verse above, the Jewish leaders admitted they could not deny what had taken place. A lame man had been healed and was now able to walk, after he had been seen in this condition his entire life.<\/p>\n

Despite this, they still wanted to stop Peter and John from teaching and sharing the truth about Jesus.<\/p>\n

Acts 4:18 (NKJV) 18 So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.<\/p>\n

A hard and rebellious heart will keep us from believing the truth, even if it is right in front of our face.<\/p>\n

Some people will go to great lengths to say or do the opposite of what they know<\/strong> to be true, just to be able to keep things going the way they want them to go.<\/p>\n

And they will deal harshly with those who refuse to agree with them.<\/p>\n

Although these men could not deny what had taken place with this healing, they chose<\/i> not to accept it for what it was!<\/p>\n

Let us join in prayer for those who have hardened their hearts against receiving the truth. That they will hear God\u2019s voice and accept His word, allowing Him to soften them so that they can hear, receive and walk in that truth!<\/p>\n

God will touch them no matter how hard they have become. But they must be willing to accept what it is He is showing them.<\/p>\n

Hebrews 3:15 (NKJV) 15 while it is said: \u201cToday, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.\u201d<\/p>\n
