Matthew 5:14 (NKJV) 14 \u201cYou are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden<\/span>.<\/p>\n

As we follow God, He will set us up to shine.<\/p>\n

When He does, it is not for us to receive praise and glory, but to bring glory to Him.<\/p>\n

Our life will have a negative or positive effect on those we interact with. What will it be?<\/p>\n

As God’s children we are all called to shine.<\/p>\n

Do you think for one second the enemy is going to leave us alone? Think again.<\/p>\n

The enemy will come after any shining object that he sees.<\/p>\n

But, thank God He has given us a powerful tactic; a tool to win such battles against our enemy.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s called, submit and resist. That\u2019s right! This is our “tool” against the enemy when he tries to get us. Submit to God, and resist the devil.<\/p>\n

James 4:7 (NKJV) \u00a07 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.<\/p>\n

If we use the proper tool, we will get the right results. He will flee. That\u2019s a promise!<\/p>\n

So, what are we going to do to keep shining on that hill?<\/p>\n

We are going to trust God by submitting to Him, and resisting the enemy when he comes to knock us off.<\/p>\n

For what purpose will we shine? That our life may bring glory to God.<\/p>\n

We are called to stand tall on that hill and shine bright! Amen.<\/p>\n
