Philippians 3:12 (NKJV) 12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.<\/p>\n

Forget the past and reach for the things still ahead.<\/p>\n

The future is what we need to look toward, following God\u2019s plan for our lives.<\/p>\n

Press onward, and don\u2019t give up.<\/p>\n

I have a heavy heart today, feeling like some of God\u2019s children are struggling with some heavy stuff. Maybe things from the past, things you have done, things you got dragged into. Or maybe you were forced to do something without you truly wanting to do it. Maybe some things were by your own choice.<\/p>\n

God knows.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time for us to get up and press on. Time to put it behind us.<\/p>\n

Our hearts need not hang on to the former things or things of old any longer. It\u2019s done and over.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV) 18 \u201cDo not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.<\/p>\n

In order for new things to happen, we must continue to let go, and press in to Him.<\/p>\n

If this is hitting you in your heart today, we invite you to pray this prayer below.<\/p>\n

Dear God in Heaven,<\/p>\n

I am not perfected yet. I have not already attained. I\u2019m sorry for what I have participated in and been involved in for years. I really want to move forward by no longer letting it pull me down every time I think of the things I’ve done. I want to move forward, press on, and walk with You. Please help me today. I\u2019m ready to move forward and lay hold of that for which You have also laid hold of me.<\/p>\n

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I ask. Amen.<\/p>\n
