Ecclesiastes 3:4 (NKJV) 4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance…<\/p>\n

When someone passes from our life, we will feel the bond that we had with them break. It will leave a place inside us that is empty.<\/p>\n

We will feel it.<\/p>\n

That does not mean that it will remain empty. That empty feeling is there only a short while until it is filled again.<\/p>\n

How long that spot remains empty depends solely on us.<\/p>\n

The one thing we need to be sure of is that we don\u2019t let that empty spot be filled with the wrong thing.<\/p>\n

Sometimes bitterness and anger will try to fill it up quickly. But know that it is not what God wants for us.<\/p>\n

When we cry out for His help, He will fill that emptiness once again with the things we love. He knows us better than we know ourselves, so trust Him. He will get it right if we follow His leading.<\/p>\n

If you are struggling today with emptiness because of someone you have lost, and you don’t know what to do or how to handle it, please join me in this prayer.<\/p>\n

Dear God,<\/p>\n

You know the pain and emptiness that I feel every day. It\u2019s so big right now. I am not even able to help myself. I really don\u2019t know what to do with it. Please help me to get past this feeling. I need Your strength to get through it. Help me to mourn, and to push through this pain.<\/p>\n

I ask You today for help. I want to laugh and dance again!<\/p>\n

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.<\/p>\n
