Matthew 4:3-4 (NKJV) 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, \u201cIf You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.\u201d 4 But He answered and said, \u201c<\/span>It is written, \u2018Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God<\/span><\/span>.\u2019 \u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Understand when Satan, the tempter, comes to tempt us, we have what we need to overcome the temptation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What is it? The Word of God!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There is power to overcome any kind of temptation by God\u2019s promises. By His truth. By His word!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sometimes we may not remember the exact chapter and verse,<\/span> but knowing what<\/i> God says is what’s most important.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Holy Spirit will help us in this, but we must be willing to trust God and stand against temptation when it is staring us in the face.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus <\/span>didn\u2019t try to overcome this on His own. He used the Word of God to rebuke the devil, and He was victorious!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God<\/span>\u2019s word is powerful. It is true, it\u2019s alive, and it wins every battle the enemy throws at us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Know the words of God. We must stand on them, and hold them dear to our hearts! Use them whenever the enemy tries to tempt us. And he will flee.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Matthew 4:11 (NKJV) 11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
