Isaiah 1:19 (NKJV) 19 If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;<\/p>\n

Knowing what we need to do, and being willing to do it, is what it’s all about!<\/p>\n

It doesn’t matter how big or small a task is. What matters is that we are doing what we are supposed to be doing.<\/p>\n

Maybe you feel today like what you are doing isn’t significant. Maybe we think that so and so has a big job and therefore they are more important.<\/p>\n

No, that’s not true.<\/p>\n

Every job that God gives us is important. The worst thing we can do is to compare ourselves to someone else.<\/p>\n

Please don’t compare to others. Stay true to what’s in your hands, stick it out, and don’t give up.<\/p>\n

God doesn’t look at our perception of a job’s importance. He sees the obedience in following Him, trusting Him, and staying with Him on that job.<\/p>\n

That’s what is big in His eyes. That’s all He looks for.<\/p>\n

Are we that person today who is comparing? Are we feeling the things we do are not big enough?<\/p>\n

Maybe we don’t do it like so and so does. So, are we on the verge of trying to take things into our own hands?<\/p>\n

Don’t do it! Your obedience to God is big enough!<\/p>\n

Finish the work He has put in your heart. Do it with everything in you, and don’t think it’s nothing.<\/p>\n

Keep going. God is with you! He sees your hard work and dedication, and He will reward you as He sees fit.<\/p>\n

Colossians 3:23-24 (NKJV) 23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.<\/p>\n
