Matthew 7:16 (NKJV) 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?<\/span><\/p>\n

We are all on this journey as believers together. Let us help each other. We should not give up on ourselves or others.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard sometimes. And we all need that extra love or encouragement to keep us moving forward trying to get it right.<\/p>\n

But how can we tell if we or others are getting it right? By the fruit that we see.<\/p>\n

Now we can have all the pretty words and the right expressions when we are out in public places or around certain folks. We can hide things from each other pretty well.<\/p>\n

But, the fruit of what we are doing behind the scenes will eventually show up.<\/p>\n

Watch for the fruit!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the fruit of our actions that will show us what\u2019s truly in our hearts. Is that fruit sweet or rotten?<\/p>\n

No one wants to eat of a rotten or bitter fruit.<\/p>\n

We must be attentive about doing things that we know are wrong.<\/p>\n

We can’t just blow it off or overlook it. We need to make a mental note that we will try to do better if it comes around again.<\/p>\n

This is how we grow as a believer, watching for the fruit, acknowledging what we did or said, and working on the changes that we need to make with the help of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

If we really want to know where we are in our spiritual walk, the proof is in the fruit!<\/p>\n
