Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.<\/p>\n

I don’t see the wind, but I hear it and feel it at times. It moves the branches and blows my hair. Thus I know it’s real.<\/p>\n

With God, I don’t see Him standing in front of me. But I see Him in everything around me. I feel His touch at times and I know it was Him.<\/p>\n

When we know, we know!<\/p>\n

I have been living this life as a believer for some time now. And just the other day as I laid in my bed, slowly waking up from a good night’s sleep, a few things came to my mind.<\/p>\n

One of them was how powerful God is!<\/p>\n

I pondered things that have come to me by way of God opening doors. And because of that, here I am today, in North Carolina.<\/p>\n

I realized that most of the steps I have taken were ordained by God, and they brought me to this place.<\/p>\n

I often find myself saying, “where am I?” This was especially true after we left all we knew, and moved to a new land.<\/p>\n

And “what am I doing here in this place?”<\/p>\n

I don’t always understand. But I do acknowledge Him and His ways before my own.<\/p>\n

I understand now that He knew all along. He planned my journey for me. I just needed to trust Him even when I didn’t know how to do some of it.<\/p>\n

There have been a few things that, even today, I still cannot believe how I or we, my husband and I, did it.<\/p>\n

I know now it was not ever us. But in the past I thought \u00a0differently. I didn’t see the big picture. I simply thought we were making decisions that were good and life was just happening.<\/p>\n

But life doesn’t just happen if you truly trust God with the reins!<\/p>\n

God has guided me in ways that I can’t even explain. He has prompted me at times without me even knowing.<\/p>\n

And I’ve made decisions based on the promptings I was feeling at that moment and hour, not giving it any thought that it was God; His Spirit leading me.<\/p>\n

God is truly powerful. His understanding is so far beyond what we can contain in our minds.<\/p>\n

Don’t worry today if you are in a place you’re not familiar with. Don’t go back to what you knew. He will unfold the new thing before you as you stay true.<\/p>\n

Trust His promptings and guidance. If you are following Him, you are RIGHT where you need to be.<\/p>\n

2 Samuel 22:31 (NKJV) 31 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
