Matthew 11:28 (NKJV) 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest<\/span>.<\/p>\n

When hard situations hit us, it can bring change in our attitude toward life, people, and even within ourselves.<\/p>\n

Sometimes we feel we are not the same person as we used to be. It can be scary when we feel we can\u2019t get back to who we once were; happy, joyful, and full of life.<\/p>\n

Pain that comes from being abused, a deep loss, etc., can and will try to change us from who we were to a weak and broken person; a person of bitterness and anger. A person who can never find that happiness we once had.<\/p>\n

But praise God, we don\u2019t have to accept it and crumble! He has given us the strength and wisdom to overcome.<\/p>\n

If we are willing to let Him help us, we won\u2019t stay in a place where pain and hurt wants to keep us. We will rise above it!<\/p>\n

Not only will we rise up, but we can take what we went through and help others rise as well. We can be an encourager to those facing similar things.<\/p>\n

These life experiences are real, and they hurt. But remember that God is bigger than whatever tries to take us out. And His healing power will keep us from any scars that may try to remain.<\/p>\n

If you are done walking in the repercussions of a life of traumatic events, God is calling you to Himself; \u201cenough is enough, let Me be your help. Rest in My arms.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mark 10:16 (NKJV) 16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.<\/p>\n
