Matthew 5:16 (NKJV) 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven<\/span>.<\/p>\n

What is the purpose of letting our light shine?<\/p>\n

It’s not for us to be seen, but that our Father be glorified. It’s a sacrifice we need to be willing to make.<\/p>\n

When life is going good, we are good! But we all know that trials come. And we don’t get to stop shining when this happens.<\/p>\n

It’s part of growing and maturing in our walk with God.<\/p>\n

We’ve got to keep our position…<\/p>\n

Those good works have to remain good even when we are struggling!<\/p>\n

They have to be seen even when we are tired!<\/p>\n

We have to push through the chaff and let good works be visible even when life is taking it’s toll on us!<\/p>\n

We won’t lie. it is very challenging.<\/p>\n

Can we be steady in this even in times of difficulty?<\/p>\n

Will we give it our all and then some?<\/p>\n

Are we in a place today where we say, “I don\u2019t have it in me, I\u2019m dealing with my own situation and that light is growing dim?”<\/p>\n

Today, is a good day to ask God for His supernatural strength to revive us.<\/p>\n

Psalm 85:6 (NKJV) 6 Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?<\/p>\n

Bring revival in our hearts once again, oh Lord!<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
