John 20:7 (NKJV) 7 and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.<\/p>\n

After Jesus Christ died on that cross for our sins, they brought Him down from the cross. His body was prepared for burial and placed in a tomb.<\/p>\n

As Mary came to the tomb on the third day, she saw that the door was taken away from the tomb and Jesus was not there.<\/p>\n

She went to tell the other disciples and they came to see.<\/p>\n

Simon Peter went in and saw that the linens Jesus was buried in were all there, but the handkerchief that had been around His head was folded together and placed by itself.<\/p>\n

What an amazing thing to witness. The empty linens and the folding of the handkerchief spoke volumes, for they had not yet known or understood the scripture that He must rise again from the dead.<\/p>\n

John 20:9 (NKJV) 9 For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.<\/p>\n

Jesus had a purpose; it was finished! He defeated death, He rose from that grave and was alive again!<\/p>\n

John 3:15 (NKJV) 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Because Jesus rose from the dead, salvation was made possible for those who put their faith and trust in Him!<\/p>\n

And with that salvation also came the hope of us all rising from the dead, just as Jesus did,, and spending eternity in God’s presence.<\/p>\n

Thank you, Jesus!<\/p>\n
