Psalm 46:1-2 (LSB) 1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains shake into the heart of the sea;<\/p>\n

One thing we can be certain of in life is change. And with that change, trials often come with it.<\/p>\n

But the other thing we can be certain of is that God is our refuge and strength; our help in times of trouble.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s interesting to note that the Hebrew word for trouble is literally translated as tight places.<\/p>\n

When change brings trials or difficulties, we often feel like we are being squeezed; backed into a corner with no way of escape.<\/p>\n

But equally important is the fact that \u201ca very present help\u201d literally means \u201cabundantly available for help\u201d in Hebrew.<\/p>\n

It should be clear to us that despite facing trials and difficulties, God is present to walk us through them.<\/p>\n

The verse above tells us that though the earth will change, and though the mountains shake into the seas, we will not fear.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because we know that He is with us regardless of what we may face.<\/p>\n

Let Him walk you through whatever difficulty or trial you are facing right now.<\/p>\n
