Genesis 1:28 (NKJV) 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, \u201cBe fruitful and multiply;<\/p>\n

Having children is a blessing from God! He created us to be fruitful and to be able to multiply!<\/p>\n

Our youngest daughter and her husband blessed us with our 5th grandchild very recently!<\/p>\n

As I held this precious new baby in my arms, I looked at her in awe. How amazing childbirth is!<\/p>\n

When I looked down at her, I saw her tiny cheeks, nose, mouth, ears, and oh her little fingers and toes. I was looking at it all!<\/p>\n

When we take the time and acknowledge the making of a human being, it blows my mind.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s precious. Her skin, and all her little parts were working perfectly. They knew what to do without her even knowing. They just worked! Her little lungs knew to breathe. Her little eyes knew to open. She even did a yawn.<\/p>\n

But, even though some things are automatic, there are those things that are not, and it is up to us to teach them. We are responsible when they are little to teach them the right things.<\/p>\n

Most importantly, we are to raise them up teaching them all about the things of God.<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (NKJV) 6 \u201cAnd these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.<\/p>\n

Sometimes kids get to a point where they think they\u2019re too old for this, and they may not want to hear it anymore. It\u2019s our job to not give into what they want<\/i>, but to give them what they need<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Stay strong. They will need what you have for them; it will carry them when you’re not around to pick up the pieces.<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
