Matthew 7:7 (NKJV) 7 \u201cAsk, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you<\/span>.<\/p>\n

I find this verse to be very comforting, and it brings stability to me at times when I\u2019m struggling with anxiety.<\/p>\n

God is saying, \u201cask!\u201d.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s very simple. But most times we forget to ask.<\/p>\n

Is there something we have not asked Him for yet? Is there something we are letting get the best of us?<\/p>\n

And if we have asked, are we trusting Him to deliver? Because the next verse says it all.<\/p>\n

Matthew 7:8 (NKJV) 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened<\/span>.<\/p>\n

There we go; for everyone who asks, receives!<\/p>\n

We must have filial trust.<\/p>\n

Filial is a deep, childlike reliance and confident submission to God for His answer, timing and deliverance of that answer.<\/p>\n

And while it may take time to show up, what does it say for us to continue doing?<\/p>\n

Matthew 7:12 (NKJV) 12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets<\/span>.<\/p>\n

So, stay busy doing good things for others even in our midst of waiting for our answer.<\/p>\n

This is obeying God as we wait on His promise in good faith!<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
