Acts 2:38 (NKJV) 38 Then Peter said to them, \u201cRepent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

As we established previously, the baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all believers. God has offered the gift of the Holy Spirit to anyone who has the faith to receive Him. This gift is for you.<\/p>\n

To receive Him, we must first be born again.<\/p>\n

The person who will be filled must have the indwelling of God\u2019s Spirit, which takes place at the time of our salvation through Christ. That happens when we repent of our sins, believe and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He comes and dwells in us.<\/p>\n

To receive the infilling, or baptism of the Holy Spirit, we must ask.<\/p>\n

When we ask, we do so believing that God will baptize us with the Holy Spirit. And it will be done as we have faith in Him to do so.<\/p>\n

We must be willing to open our mouths and let the Holy Spirit speak through us. No matter what it sounds like, we need to be willing to let it flow out!<\/p>\n

We cannot be embarrassed, or fear what others may think about us when the Holy Spirit is upon us. We simply need to obey Him.<\/p>\n

Whatever we say or do when the Holy Spirit is moving in us will always be aligned with scripture. He will never have us say or do anything contrary to God\u2019s word.<\/p>\n

Below is our prayer for you.<\/p>\n

Dear God in Heaven,<\/p>\n

We pray for the person today who is seeking your gift of the Holy Spirit. We ask that You will meet them where they are, and fill them, just as You have promised that You will fill us. We stand in agreement, believing Your words and receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, In the name of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

Have Your way Holy Spirit. We surrender to You. We will open our mouths and let Your words flow from our tongue.<\/p>\n

We praise You, God. Pray through me today. Amen<\/p>\n

Acts 2:4 (NKJV) 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.<\/p>\n
