Sound wisdom and discretion; in modern times we call this common sense. God has given all of us common sense. We use it on a daily basis to make choices and decisions.<\/p>\n
Sometimes we, as believers, tend to overlook common sense as we try to “get God” on something, or try so very hard to “know what God’s telling us”.<\/p>\n
Sometimes we can be trying so hard to be spiritual that we overlook what God is showing us with good old fashioned common sense!<\/p>\n
We should always seek God in everything we do. It’s important that we do this and important that we know how to hear Him when he’s speaking to us. But it’s just as important that we know how to use the tools that He has given us (intelligence and common sense), when we don’t seem to have a spiritual answer for a situation.<\/p>\n
Sometimes the answer to our problem(s) is staring us in the face, but because it doesn’t reveal itself in some kind of spiritual way, we just don’t see it. Well, this is where common sense needs to kick in and we need to see it for what it is.<\/p>\n
This can happen to any one of us, regardless of how spiritual we think we are!<\/p>\n
Are you facing a problem today? Are you waiting on God for an answer to that problem? Maybe He hasn’t shown you a solution yet… or maybe He has, but we just need to use common sense to see it.<\/p>\n
