Matthew 6:34 (NKJV) 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Focus on today.<\/p>\n

Is it just me, or is this challenging for others too? I must remind myself of this verse when I start to tense up.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s right, when I get worried about tomorrow or something is laying heavy on my heart, I tense up without even being aware that I\u2019m doing it.<\/p>\n

And the worst thing about it is that my lower back muscles react, and my back locks up tight because this tension\/stress causes inflammation. And it presses on my nerves. I can\u2019t even walk normally when it hits.<\/p>\n

I end up at the chiropractor’s office every time, needing relief!<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t need to worry, and many of us know it. But we still do it at times.<\/p>\n

It takes deliberate effort on our end to stop it.<\/p>\n

It takes discipline in not letting our thoughts run wild. It takes getting God\u2019s help in this area.<\/p>\n

The doctors would love to give us meds to calm us down. But that\u2019s not going to help the root of the problem. We need to pull on God.<\/p>\n

When we are in the middle of a \u201cworry\u201d attack, we must ask God to help us in our unbelief. In the area where we are lacking faith, He will help us.<\/p>\n

Mark 9:24 (NKJV) 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, \u201cLord, I believe; help my unbelief!\u201d<\/p>\n

No more worrying about tomorrow. Get through today. God is faithful!<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
