Psalm 100:5 (NKJV) 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.<\/p>\n

Maybe we are in a season of our lives where it is hard to be happy about anything.<\/p>\n

But we don\u2019t have to be in a good place to let loose and praise God. We can praise Him simply because of who He is!<\/p>\n

We can start by knowing He is good!<\/p>\n

Hebrew word for good is Tob. Meaning, pleasant, desirable, beneficial, and righteous.<\/p>\n

The Greek word for good, agathos, means upright, honorable, \u00a0and virtuous. Also Greek, agathosune, zeal for truth and righteousness, involving sternness to oppose evil.<\/p>\n

Breaking down the word, good, shows us God\u2019s character. He is all of this and more; the ultimate standard of goodness!<\/p>\n

David speaks of His mercy being everlasting.<\/p>\n

His mercy is available continuously as we come to Him and repent. It\u2019s not based on our actions, or the things we have done wrong. Thank the good Lord!<\/p>\n

David also says, He\u2019s truth endures to all generations; it is not temporary. It is for all of God’s people, past, present, and future.<\/p>\n

No one will be excluded as we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

Praise doesn\u2019t come from where we are in our life. It comes from an inward knowing of Who He is, and letting it out!<\/p>\n
