Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you<\/span>.<\/p>\n

As I take this day to stop and look at the blessings of God in my life and all around me, what do I know now that I didn\u2019t know before?<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve learned that I can do nothing<\/i> without Him.<\/p>\n

I have been down many roads. I have taken many detours where I have tried to be that person; the one who wants to do their own thing.<\/p>\n

That person who wants to make my own decisions.<\/p>\n

That person who tries to get through hard times without anyone’s help.<\/p>\n

That person who wants to say, \u201cI did it all by myself.\u201d All by MYSELF!<\/p>\n

I’ve been humbled many times and found myself alone, crying out, \u201cLord, I need You, I messed it up again.\u201d<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t look at needing Him as a terrible thing anymore. It\u2019s not wrong to cry out for His help.<\/p>\n

We are not a failure because we need Him.<\/p>\n

No, on the contrary.<\/p>\n

It is the way we were designed; to long for Him. To embrace Him! To learn from Him! To lean on Him and to seek Him!<\/p>\n

We were made to love and serve Him. And He is there for us. He cares for you.<\/p>\n

Peter 5:7 (NKJV) 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.<\/p>\n

Let Him be God in our life today!<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
