We’d like to remind everyone today who our enemy is. It is not our neighbor. It is not a politician. It is not our boss at work.<\/p>\n
It is not any single human being. Some of these people may seem<\/i> like our enemy, but our true enemy is the devil.<\/p>\n
He is real. He is not a fable or a storybook character. He is in the world, looking for people like you and me to destroy.<\/p>\n
The world is full of evidence of his existence. In fact, we see more and more evidence every day. Evil abounds in the world.<\/p>\n
So be sober and vigilant and know that your enemy pursues you and desires to hurt you.<\/p>\n
But we have a Savior! His name is Jesus. And for those of us who call Him ours, He is our protector. He is our source. He is the giver of life!<\/p>\n
Bad things may come our way and some of them may even hurt us. But our enemy can never have us if we cling to Jesus.<\/p>\n
Cling to Jesus today. Give yourself to Him and give Him your all. In Him is life.<\/p>\n
