Isaiah 6:8 (NKJV) 8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: \u201cWhom shall I send, And who will go for Us?\u201d Then I said, \u201cHere am I! Send me.\u201d<\/p>\n

God is awesome! He has a way of reaching us right where we are.<\/p>\n

That night so long ago that God touched our lips, we were in a sound sleep. It was His touch that woke us both at the very same time.<\/p>\n

We did not say, here we are God, send us. It was more like, He touched us and we just followed His lead each day.<\/p>\n

We had no idea what God had in store for us. We just took one step at a time as He led us.<\/p>\n

We knew that He did something that night, although we didn\u2019t fully understand it. But in our hearts we were willing and ready.<\/p>\n

And over time, He unfolded it.<\/p>\n

God is careful to speak to our hearts individually and in the way we can understand Him.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t be afraid of Him. He knows us better than we know ourselves.<\/p>\n

He doesn\u2019t choose us because of what we know. He chooses us most times because He knows our hearts, whether we are willing to obey Him.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s so important to keep ourselves ready and available. We do this simply by drawing near to Him.<\/p>\n

And by doing so, He will prepare us. We will know and be ready in our hearts for whatever it may be that God is calling us to do. He is faithful!<\/p>\n

2 Timothy 4:2 (NKJV) 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.<\/p>\n
