Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.<\/p>\n

As I was out for a bike ride recently, a phrase came to me that I knew was the Holy Spirit speaking.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t understand, but I trust.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a phrase or sentiment that we must learn to live by as we learn to walk by faith, instead of what we see or perceive.<\/p>\n

2 Corinthians 5:7 (LSB) 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight\u2014<\/p>\n

Walking by faith isn\u2019t easy, especially when we are a baby in Christ. It comes with time, maturity, and understanding.<\/p>\n

But it is something that requires us to allow God to transform our thinking, training our minds to look past human logic.<\/p>\n

This can be hard to grasp initially. After all, we are taught in the natural world to live by logic and human intellect.<\/p>\n

But as a child of God, our intellect is no longer our guide. We now have the Holy Spirit as our Helper, sent to lead us into all truth.<\/p>\n

And it is because of this that we can walk through the most difficult times of our lives without always understanding why God shows us to do certain things.<\/p>\n

Our responsibility isn\u2019t to always understand. It is to trust Him as He leads and guides us.<\/p>\n

No, this isn\u2019t always easy. And sometimes it can be downright scary to our minds.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s what we are commanded in God\u2019s word to do.<\/p>\n

And do it we must \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffb<\/p>\n
