Micah 6:8 (LSB) 8 He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does Yahweh require of you But to do justice, to love lovingkindness, And to walk humbly with your God?<\/p>\n

What does God require of us?<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a good question. It’s one that we should ask ourselves from time to time.<\/p>\n

And it’s one that we need to understand if we are to walk out our lives in the way that God desires and commands us to do.<\/p>\n

This verse is practically a “here is what God wants of me” answer in a very short statement.<\/p>\n

He wants us to live justly; do what is right.<\/p>\n

To love lovingkindness; sincerely and wholeheartedly practice kindness, mercy, and compassion toward others with the heart of Christ.<\/p>\n

And to walk humbly before our God; setting our pride and ego aside, not thinking more highly of ourselves than we should, giving God preference in everything, allowing Him to lead, guide, and shape our lives.<\/p>\n

These are of the utmost importance for each of us to heed and walk out, obeying God and glorifying Him with our lives in all that we do \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffb<\/p>\n
