Psalm 46:1 (LSB) 1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.<\/p>\n

Do you have trouble?<\/p>\n

Are there difficulties in your life?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s OK to admit it if you do. Nobody\u2019s life is perfect or without trials and tribulations.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s important is to understand that we are not without help or hope.<\/p>\n

God is or help. He is our refuge.<\/p>\n

This could also be rephrased to say, \u201cour impenetrable defense\u201d!<\/p>\n

In this world, there are no defenses that are impenetrable. It\u2019s an impossibility.<\/p>\n

But with God all things are possible.<\/p>\n

Matthew 19:26 (LSB) 26 And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Now, we may look at Psalm 46:1 and say, \u201cwhat does a present help mean?\u201d.<\/p>\n

A present help means a help that has been found to be reliable, or proven to be a reliable stronghold in the past, so that any future calamity is no reason to fear.<\/p>\n

We need to recognize that God is that One who is reliable, steadfast; One we can depend on in any situation we find ourselves in.<\/p>\n

Run to Him today.<\/p>\n

Hold fast to Him.<\/p>\n

Know that He is the strength you need as you face your battle head-on.<\/p>\n

He never fails us.<\/p>\n
