Psalm 34:18 (LSB) 18 Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.<\/p>\n

Sadness can sometimes crush us.<\/p>\n

The loss of a loved one, a sudden financial crisis, or an unexpected health crisis. These can all be devastating, causing us great anguish, and even a broken heart in some cases.<\/p>\n

How do we cope with these things?<\/p>\n

What can we do to alleviate the pain and heartbreak that they can bring?<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a question we all ask, and for good reason.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also one that may be a bit different for each person since we are all created uniquely, and because our situations can vary widely.<\/p>\n

But, despite our differences and the uniqueness of each situation, there is one common denominator we all share.<\/p>\n

It is God, our Creator and Redeemer.<\/p>\n

He sees past what we may perceive to be insurmountable obstacles to our recovery. He knows just where to touch our heart, bringing healing and restoration where we thought it to be impossible.<\/p>\n

His incredible wisdom, understanding, and grace work in unison to heal our broken hearts in a way that no other human could ever do for us.<\/p>\n

Yes, He will also use other people to help us navigate the road to healing. But He is the primary agent by which healing comes when we are brokenhearted.<\/p>\n

Equally important is our willingness to surrender our broken selves to Him, the Great Physician, that He might work His wonders on our behalf.<\/p>\n

And as we humble ourselves in His presence, the healing will begin, with restoration taking place that our mind might not ever have thought possible.<\/p>\n
