Have you ever felt like this? Has it ever seemed like God was a million miles away and wasn\u2019t hearing a single thing that you\u2019ve said to Him?<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve had people ask me about this. It\u2019s more common than most people realize. We all go through it sometimes.<\/p>\n
Most times when people are having trouble hearing God it\u2019s because there is something that has come between us\u2026 something that is either blocking the way between us and Him, or something that has caused a gap between us and Him.<\/p>\n
More often than not, this is due to the fact that we have said or done something that isn\u2019t pleasing to Him or is contrary to His word. This causes distance between us and God.<\/p>\n
The further we are from someone, the harder it is to hear them. If you\u2019re having trouble hearing God, take a look at what you\u2019ve done recently. There\u2019s probably something in the recent past that has caused this silence.<\/p>\n
It usually doesn\u2019t take much to fix this. Asking for forgiveness and repenting is a huge step in the right direction. Once we\u2019ve done that, we just need to leave it at the foot of the cross and be done with it.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s start the week off right, by taking care of anything that might be creating a gap between us and God.<\/p>\n
