Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV) 5 \u201cBefore I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.\u201d<\/p>\n

God was talking to the prophet, Jeremiah, telling him He knew him. Yes, He knew him even before he took his first breath.<\/p>\n

Wow! That surely shows us what an Omniscient, all-knowing Father He is!<\/p>\n

It brings me great comfort to know that God knows all of us this well.<\/p>\n

There was a time when I did not like me.<\/p>\n

I was mad because of the things I had gone through. And I hid from myself, not wanting to face the things that had happened to me at times in my life when I was younger.<\/p>\n

You see, I thought if I could block these things out, it would be like they had never happened.<\/p>\n

But I was wrong. It didn’t work. It was all still there.<\/p>\n

We can’t block it out. We must deal with it.<\/p>\n

We must accept that it has happened and let God bring healing to our being that has been stained or broken.<\/p>\n

No, we cannot take on someone else’s identity.<\/p>\n

No, we cannot stuff the hard things away to pretend they never took place.<\/p>\n

We must prayerfully seek God about how to keep going; how to be that person He made us to be.<\/p>\n

Maybe we don\u2019t like ourselves today. The things that we have been through hurt to remember.<\/p>\n

We should not feel ashamed. We cannot pretend they never happened. And we should not try to hide them away any longer.<\/p>\n

We must face them and let God take the things that we once hated about ourselves and use them to help others and bring glory to Him.<\/p>\n

Cry out to God to help you face those things today. No more hiding.<\/p>\n

He knows who He is working with because He knew us before we ever breathed our first breath.<\/p>\n
