James 4:7 (NKJV) 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.<\/p>\n

This is a very short scripture, easy to memorize and keep dear to our hearts.<\/p>\n

It offers great instructions with a promise to follow!<\/p>\n

As we surrender our will to God, and obey Him with what He shows us to do, we will be able to fight spiritual battles.<\/p>\n

It is God\u2019s strength that will help us oppose and overcome temptation.<\/p>\n

What do we need His strength for? Standing firm.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t be strong one day and simply give in the next day.<\/p>\n

Daily temptation is something we all face.<\/p>\n

1 John 2:16 (NKJV) \u00a016 For all that is in the world\u2014the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life\u2014is not of the Father but is of the world.<\/p>\n

Here are just three that we all face daily.<\/p>\n

Lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride.<\/p>\n

John hits it right on the head; he spells it out for us. And James gives us clearcut instructions as to how to overcome these things.<\/p>\n

It is there in black and white so we can all have the knowledge we need.<\/p>\n

Submit, resist, and be free today.<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
