(Matthew 12:37 NKJV)\u00a0 “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”<\/p>\n
Our spoken words are a very serious thing. What we say has a huge impact on us and those around us.<\/p>\n
Jesus taught in the verse above that we will be judged for our words and we will either be justified by them or condemned for them.<\/p>\n
This is truly eye-opening and convicting, because every single one of us has spoken things that would have been better left unsaid.<\/p>\n
There is not a lot that can be said to expound on this. It’s pretty black and white, with no hidden meanings or deeply spiritual symbolism.<\/p>\n
So let’s heed what Jesus is teaching us and guard our hearts, because it’s what is in our hearts that causes the words to come out of our mouths.<\/p>\n
God, give us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us, that we may speak words to be justified by.<\/p>\n
